Harris campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon “blew through a billion dollars in a few months.”
Politico’s California bureau chief Christopher Cadelago posted on X Wednesday evening, "Kamala Harris's campaign ended with at least $20 million in debt, per two sources familiar. Harris raised over $1 billion and had $118 million in the bank as of Oct. 16.”
A Harris-Walz campaign staffer confirmed the report to Breitbart, adding that Harris campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon “blew through a billion dollars in a few months.”
The staffer noted that the campaign’s star-studded concerts with Katy Perry, Lizzo, Eminem, and Bruce Springsteen were allegedly “all Jen’s idea,” and O’Malley Dillon prioritized the celebrity concerts “at the expense of” other priorities such as “spending money on social media.”
The staffer went on to say that Harris-Walz deputy campaign manager Rob Flaherty is “currently shopping around the Kamala fundraising email list to anyone who wants” to attempt to raise the money back for the campaign.
The staffer told Breitbart that “People didn’t like working with” O’Malley Dillon, adding, “Many people on the campaign felt like we lost because Kamala wasn’t allowed to run her campaign. They were running Joe Biden’s campaign instead of a Kamala campaign. Obnoxious and very much a gate keeper and interfering with the vice president’s people who were trying to do their job.” When Harris took over as the candidate, Biden's campaign operations remained in place. The campaign headquarters were still operating out of Biden's home state of Delaware.
According to the staffer “several people” who worked on the campaign were “still awaiting several overdue payments they were promised for their work.” Harris conceded the race to her opponent former president and now President-elect Donald Trump during a speech Wednesday afternoon at Howard University.
