Kamala Harris’ husband and current "Second Gentleman" Doug Emhoff promoted a new "aspirational" coffee blend titled, "First Gentleman’s Blend." The title of First Lady or Gentleman is reserved for the spouse of the president.

In a post on Monday, Emhoff wrote, "Being an aspirational coffee blend was not on my 2024 bingo card."

A description of the signature blend dark roast states, "It takes a strong man to stand by a strong woman. We’re proud to introduce First Gentleman’s Blend, crafted by Coffee By Design to celebrate Doug Emhoff, husband to Kamala Harris. In addition to being a supportive spouse and active campaigner, Doug is an outstanding activist in his own right; supporting gender equity, equal access to justice, and combatting antisemitism. Enjoy this bold, strong dark roast made in his honor. Tastes like hope!"

The coffee is made by Coffee by Design, a Portland, Maine company that Emhoff visited in July. The company said in an Instagram story post that the blend was a "special gift" for Emhoff.

The roaster wrote on Instagram celebrating Emhoff’s visit, "It's hard to believe a week has gone by since Doug Emhoff toured Coffee By Design as part of his visit to Maine - and he's returning to Maine today on behalf of his wife, Vice President Kamala Harris. We're excited to support her campaign, and look forward to officially welcoming Doug Emhoff as the First Gentleman of the White House!"

The coffee company also launched "Girl Blend," a coffee blend that won an internal employee contest to create a coffee blend. Additionally, portions of the proceeds of the blend will go to Kamala Harris’ campaign, the company announced.

"We're excited to have your support for the Kamala Harris For President Campaign, with $5 from every pound sold in our coffeehouses or from our website going to the campaign. If you buy a 2lb bag that means we'll make a $10 donation," they wrote on Instagram.

"We’re ready to welcome Kamala Harris as the next President of the United States. She will continue to fight for the freedom for women to make decisions about our own bodies. She will fight for the freedom to vote. She will fight for the freedom to drink clean water and breathe clean air," said Coffee By Design owner Mary Allen Lindemann, according to WMTW.

In response to Emhoff's blend that touted him being a "supportive spouse," many on social media noted the recent revelation that he cheated on his first wife with the nanny who cared for his children, resulting in the nanny getting pregnant.

"What was on the bingo card of the nanny you knocked up," CEO and co-founder of The Federalist Sean Davis wrote.

"Do have any - knocked up nanny pumpkin spice," wrote prominent conservative account Catturd.

"Does it include condoms as a secret prize to make sure the nanny doesn't get pregnant," wrote author and former Department of Defense Intel Operative Tony Shaffer.
