Elon Musk revealed that he's changed his behavior since Charlie Kirk was assassinated at the Utah Valley State campus just three months ago. Speaking to The Katie Miller Podcast, Musk said, "life is on hardcore mode."

"When's the last time you did something extremely ordinary, like go to Target or CVS?" Miller asked.

"I can't go to things where there's a general public because, I mean, there, there's an immediate 'Can I have a selfie line' that forms and these days, particularly in light of Charlie Kirk's murder, there are serious security issues. It's not that I don't want to, I simply can't," Musk said.

"
Has Charlie's murder changed how you do things, or were you already locked down pretty well before that?" She asked.

"It certainly reinforced the severity of the situation where life is on hardcore mode," Musk said. "You make one mistake and you're dead. It only takes one mistake."

In the interview, Miller also asked Musk about who he thinks is the funniest person, and Musk said, "President Trump is very funny." He brought up the recent event where socialist Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani visited the president in the Oval Office.

"He's got a great sense of humor. President Trump is very funny, very funny. He's like naturally funny, somewhat effortless," Musk said.

Mamdani was asked if he still believed Trump was a fascist, which he'd said repeatedly on the campaign trail. "I mean, you know, when he had Mamdani in the office, and they asked him if he still thought the President was a fascist, and the President said 'just say yes, it's easier that way.'" Musk laughed.

When asked who he most looked up to, Musk said. "The creator... God is the creator."

"I believe this universe came from something," he said.

Kirk was killed on September 10 by an assassin positioned on a rooftop. He was debating students, listening and having conversations, as he had done for his entire career. He leaves behind a wife and two children.

His alleged killer is Tyler Robinson, a young man who was involved in a romantic relationship with another man who was undergoing gender transition. The two were politically leftist and enmeshed in online furry culture.
