Police are looking for a man who slashed a two-year-old boy in what appears to be an unprovoked attack in Manhattan on Wednesday morning, reports ABC News.
The man approached the boy at about 9:35 a.m. while he was with his nanny at Morningside Drive and 110th street, say police.
The man then proceeded to cut the boy above the right eye with an unknown object, before running away.
Police are attempting to identify the suspect through surveillance footage
The man is described as approximately five-foot-six and has short black hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a white shirt, black shoes an black socks.
The boy is expected to make a full recovery after receiving six stitches.
