The memorial service has raised questions about why such service would be permitted in the United States for a terrorist affiliated with a designated International Terrorist Organization.

An Islamic mosque in Dearborn, Michigan announced it would be hosting a memorial service for a deceased Hezbollah terrorist who was recently killed in Lebanon. The terror militant's death was said to be caused by targeted attacks believed to be carried out by the Israeli government, which consisted of exploding pagers and walkie-talkies.

The controversial memorial service for Fadl Abbas Bazzi will be held on Sept. 22 at 3 pm at the Islamic Institute of Knowledge mosque in Dearborn, according to a flyer released by the mosque. Senior editor of Post Millennial Andy Ngo has confirmed that Bazzi is a Hezbollah terror militant.

The mosque's announcement stated that Bazzi was a husband, son, and father of two children. The mosque said the service will be joined by the terrorist's "mourning families," which include the Bazzis, the Jomaas, and the Mantashs as well as the community of Bentjbeil and Kafarseir.

The Islamic Institute of Knowledge cropped out part of Bazzi's Hezbollah uniform in the photo for their flyer. However, Hezbollah issued a formal press release in Arabic about their deceased mujahid (Islamic martyr) on their propaganda channel al-Manar.

The memorial service has raised questions about why an American mosque would hold a memorial for a terrorist affiliated with a designated International Terrorist Organization that has killed US service personnel. Additional countries that recognize Hezbollah as an official terror group include the UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, the Arab League, and many others.

Dearborn became recognized as the Arab capital of North America after former Democratic President Barack Obama relocated a high number of Muslim refugees to the city during his tenure. The relocation resulted in Dearborn having the largest Muslim population in the US with nearly half of its roughly 110,000 residents identifying as Muslim. Many of them are of Lebanese descent and have expressed support for Shia terrorism.
