"To help hurry this state vetting processes, we are looking to hire 20 child actors for 3 days."
A screenshot of the Craigslist listing stated, "My family runs day care here in the city and have for over 5 years, until Monday when funding was cruelly ripped away without cause. Due to this insane poor decision clear in white supremacy, we had to close our doors immediately. We must prove we are a function day care to get the funding back. The issue is, the ENTIRE client base has already found new daycare services so we need to find new clients base quickly."
"To help hurry this state vetting processes, we are looking to hire 20 child actors for 3 days, while the state is present on site. We pay up to $1500 actor, per day. If you are interest, please send your child's age and a note of what makes your child a special actor. Submit phone number as well, as we will be doing quick phone interviews as part of hire process," the listing added.
The Craigslist post was archived before it was taken down. It comes as the Trump administration as well as state government have been moving to investigate payments to childcare centers in the state.
All this takes place after independent journalist Nick Shirley released a viral video report with allegations of fraud going on at several childcare centers in Minnesota. Shirley as well as a local by the name of David went around to multiple daycares, asking if any children were present. Many of the locations did not have any children in the middle of the day on December 16, the day that Shirley filmed.
Additionally, five of the 10 childcare centers in Minnesota that were visited by Shirley were “meal sites” for “Feeding Our Future,” the nonprofit that has been caught in a massive fraud investigation, and at least 60 people have been convicted and 90 people charged, the majority of them being Somali.
