Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Thursday called for the censorship of "Hamas Caucus Leader" Rep. Rashida Tlaib (MI) over her involvement in Wednesday's storming of a Capitol office building by anti-Israel protesters who demanded a ceasefire after Israel declared war on Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist group that launched an invasion of the Jewish nation, killing at least 1,400 Israelis.

Greene described the demonstration as an "insurrection" and would like to see those involved receive the same treatment as those who protested at the US Capitol on Jan. 6, demanding an investigation. The Georgia representative also sent a letter to Capitol Police on Wednesday formally requesting all security surveillance footage and arrest records be preserved following the incident.

"Rashida Tlaib organized an insurrection today that broke federal law. She coordinated with Global Intifada and anti-Israel JVP. They all must be held in the DC gulag and Tlaib must be held accountable," Rep. Greene wrote on X. "I'm writing a censure resolution for Rashida Tlaib. After what she did today, I expect even Democrats will join in. She is an Israel hating America hating woman who does not represent anything America stands for."

In the letter sent to US Capitol Police, MTG "formally requested" the department "preserve all video surveillance footage, photographic evidence, police reports and arrests records from all House Office Buildings on October 18, 2023."

"The group that organized the insurrection, Jewish Voice for Peace, is a pro-Islamic anti-Semitic group that seeks the destruction of the state of Israel, according to the Anti-Defamation League," the letter states. "These actors caused elevators to be shut down, staircases and hallways to be blocked, exits to be made inaccessible, and official legislative business to be obstructed, putting Members of Congress, their staffs, and Capitol visitors at risk."

Furthermore, Greene asserted that the Committee on House Administration "must investigate this incident and review all footage and evidence provided by Capitol Police, and the insurrectionists involved must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

Rep. Greene also called out Rashida Tlaib on X for participating in Hezbollah's worldwide "day of rage," in which Tlaib was seen angrily protesting with demonstrators, leading chants and speeches.

"If we're not crying something is wrong. So I’m telling you right now, President Biden, not all of America is with you on this one, and you need to wake up and understand that. We are literally watching people commit your genocide," Tlaib told protesters.

The US Capitol Police wrote on X that arrests were made following illegal demonstrations inside the Cannon Rotunda, including for assault of police officers. Around 300 people were arrested during the incident.

"A group of protesters are demonstrating inside the Cannon Rotunda," they wrote adding, "Demonstrations are not allowed inside Congressional Buildings."

"Arrests in the Canon Rotunda [sic] and the rolling road closures are ongoing," police said. "Amongst these arrests, three people have been arrested and charged with Assault on a Police Officer during processing."
