Netflix, in its latest push to be woke, has begun adding cast member pronouns to actor announcements.
A tweet posted Wednesday by the streaming giant annoucned the cast for its upcoming show The Sandman, based on Neil Gaiman's comic series.
"Jenna Coleman, David Thewlis, Stephen Fry, Patton Oswalt, Joely Richardson, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Mason Alexander Park, Donna Preston, Niamh Walsh, Kyo Ra, Razane Jammal, and Sandra James Young will co-star alongside Tom Sturridge and Gwendolyn Christie in The Sandman!" Netflix stated.

Also included in the post was a poster showcasing the cast, with each member's pronouns listed below their photo.
Netflix's announcement joins the growing trend for people to place pronouns in bios of their social media.
American Horror Story actress Sarah Paulson was attacked by Twitter users in March for refusing to place her pronouns in her bio on Trans Visibility Day, stating that she didn't want people to tell her what to do.
