“Quit your sh*tty a** job."
He made the comments during a performance in the San Francisco Bay Area on Friday. “Quit your sh*tty a** job,” said Armstrong. “Quit that sh*tty job you have, because when this is over—and it will be over at some point in time—Kristi Noem, Stephen Miller, JD Vance, Donald Trump, they’re going to drop you like. a bad f*cking habit. Come on this side of the line.”
Bad Bunny, who will be performing at the halftime show for the Super Bowl, has also made negative remarks about ICE in the past. He did not perform in the US during his 2025 tour and cited immigration policies from President Donald Trump as the reason.
Armstrong added that the performance "goes out to Minneapolis" as there have been anti-ICE protests as well as violent unrest taking place. The unrest comes after the shooting of Renee Good as well as Alex Pretti. Good was shot by an ICE agent as she drove her car into him and Pretti was shot while agents were wrestling a gun away from him.
The band also changed the lyrics of "Holiday" from "the representative from California has the floor" to "the representative from Epstein Island has the floor."
In response to the choice of Green Day as well as Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl, Turning Point USA has the "All American Halftime Show" slated to take place as an alternative to the artists who have made their left-wing politics known.
