Hunter Biden declined to show up for his public hearing on Wednesday, leaving Tony Bobulinski as the first witness in the House GOP's impeachment inquiry of Biden's father, President Joe Biden. Bobulinski, who has been blowing the whistle on the Biden family's influence peddling since an appearance on Tucker Carlson Tonight a few years ago, continued to sound the alarm in Congress.

A former business associate of Hunter Biden's, Bobulinki said that Hunter had committed perjury before Congress.

"Hunter Biden gave his transcribed interview on February 28 and lied throughout his testimony. Here's just one egregious example of Hunter's perjury: he lied to the committee on important details concerning his money demands and threats to CFC in text messages on July 30 and 31, 2017. He leveraged his father's presence next to him in that infamous text to strong arm CFC into paying Hunter immediately."

Bobulinski also took aim at Joe Biden's brother James Biden, saying that "Jim Biden also lied extensively throughout his transcribed interview on February 21 and perjured himself." He gave an example of that as well, saying that Jim lied about having a meeting with Bobulinski himself. James Biden was asked the question "multiple times," Bobulinksi said. Bobulinksi said there was evidence that they had met in May 2017, despite James Biden's denials.

In his written statement, Bobulinksi called out Reps. Jamie Raskin and Dan Goldman, saying they "will continue to lie today in this hearing and then go straight to the media to tell more lies." He also said that Hunter Biden's attorney had lied to Congress and had "smeared" Bobulinksi's name.

As he delivered that testimony, he was disrupted by Rep. Jamie Raskin, who said that Bobulinski "called members of this committee liars, and I just whether the order and decorum requirements of House Rule 11 apply to witnesses appearing before the committee? Does it apply or does it not?"

Rep. James Comer said the rule does not apply to a witness.

Hunter Biden had requested a public hearing, and when it was granted, declined to show up. The House Oversight Committee recommended charges of contempt of Congress be levied against Hunter Biden when he previously refused to attend a desposition.
