Son of pastor Artur Pawlowski speaks out against ‘mad emperor’ Justin Trudeau

Following that speech and a video presentation from his father, the Pawlowski received a standing ovation from the Parliament.

His father, Pastor Artur Pawlowski remains under house arrest in his Calgary home after a judge found him guilty on May 2 of mischief and breaching a release order for preaching to Freedom Convoy truckers who were blocking the Canada-US border at Coutts, AB.

The minister could be sentenced to 10 years in prison if he is also convicted under Alberta's Critical Infrastructure Defense Act. That legislation is currently subject to a Constitutional challenge by his defence team.

"I am here today in desperation, a cry for help," Nathaniel Pawlowski, 23, said in his address to the Parliament. "I would like to stand here and tell you all the things about freedom and democracy that I like, but I no longer know those things."

"They have been taken away from us Canadians. Canada has fallen."

In an exclusive interview with TPM, Nathaniel called Trudeau "Caligula."

"So I explained to the parliament that what is happening is tyranny; we're experiencing tyranny. Trudeau was a tyrant. The local governments are no better. They're also tyrannical … [T]he provincial governments are actually potentially even more tyrannical than Trudeau because they're the ones that imposed most of the mandates and restrictions that took away our rights and freedoms."

"So I was explaining to the Parliament, these politicians are tyrannical. Canada has fallen. Trudeau is a Caligula. He's a mad emperor; he's lost his mind. And we're in a very bad position as Canadians."

Nathaniel explained that the invitation to speak was originally sent to his father "by several members of the European Parliament, and also a bunch of citizens, of course, and other politicians, local politicians, members of Parliament from the UK and all around Europe."

The elder Pawlowski could not attend given his house arrest conditions.

Calgary police have also charged Nathaniel for violating a city bylaw that prohibits protesters from being less than 100 meters of a drag queen story hour.

The members wanted Pawlowski to speak on the issue of how the World Health Organization (WHO) and aligned "governments implement very totalitarian trending restrictions, mandates in the name of health. Of course, what they're doing is they're stripping rights and freedoms in the name of your benefit of your safety and your health. But of course, it's just, it's a power grab. So what I spoke to was the consequences."

"My dad is facing up to 10 years in prison for a thoughtcrime … for inciting mischief. That's a thought crime. He's said words that the government doesn't agree with … all of this was regarding the COVID stuff, the COVID mandates and the truckers and he just said words that the government doesn't agree with," Nathaniel said.

"So we don't have free speech in Canada, we don't have freedom of religion, and I was just explaining to the Parliament that we don't have our rights and freedoms in Canada anymore. They were taken away in the name of health, in the name of our safety and benefit, and we were stripped of all rights."

Artur Pawlowski told TPM that during his arrest and imprisonment, he was mistreated.

"I was interrogated by RCMP for hours, then taken to prison stripped naked, taken to solitary confinement. The next day, I was placed in metal cages, believe it or not. And then I was taken from one solitary cell with the bed to another one on concrete, no washroom, and no water. And that was going on for 45 days," he told TPM.

Pawlowski also alleged that he was "denied access" to his lawyers before being sent to a maximum security facility in Edmonton "in a place for the most dangerous terrorists."

Calgary Police Service (CPS) arrested Pawlowksi on five occasions as he persisted in preaching to the truckers in defiance of a court order. He once delivered a sermon in the middle of a highway.

He has already spent 51 days in jail, in part, for his refusal to obey a probation order that he tell his congregation that "the majority of medical experts in Alberta" on social distancing, mask-wearing, and vaccines even at church. "The final term of his probation order will be that when he is exercising his right of free speech and speaking against [Alberta Health Services] Health Orders and AHS health recommendations, in a public gathering or public forum, he must indicate in his communications the following," wrote Germain.
