‘That’s classified’: Biden addresses Taylor Swift endorsement rumors
“Where are you gettin’ this information?” Biden said after a long pause. “That’s classified!”

On Monday, Joe Biden sat down with Seth Meyers on his late-night program to address some of the big questions on everybody's mind, including whether he and Taylor Swift are working together to ensure victory for Democrats in the 2024 election.
When pressed on the issue, the aviator-clad president refused to answer one way or the other, furthering what the Pentagon claims is a "conspiracy theory" by joking that it was "classified" information.

"18 percent of Americans, according to recent polling, believe that you and Taylor Swift are actually working in cahoots," Meyers said. "Now after the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl, you posted this on social media and wrote, 'Just like we drew it up'."

Putting aside the image of the tweet in question, which included an image of the infamous red-eyed "Dark Brandon" meme, the late-night host asked the president to "confirm or deny that there is an active conspiracy between [him] and Ms. Swift."
"Where are you gettin' this information?" Biden said after a long pause. "That's classified!"
While he didn't disclose anything about this election cycle, he did remind Meyers and the audience that Swift had endorsed him in 2020.
The poll cited by Meyers was conducted by Monmouth University earlier this month. It asked 902 respondents whether they had encountered the idea that "Taylor Swift is part of a covert government effort to help Joe Biden win the presidential election, 54 percent said they had never even heard that claim before, while 46 percent said they were "aware."
When asked whether they believed in the idea, however, nearly one in five said yes while 73 percent said no.
A recent Axios/Generation Lab poll found that nearly 25 percent of voters aged 18-34 consider themselves to be fans of Taylor Swift. Despite this, her ability to sway their political choices appears limited, with only 4 percent of respondents saying they would consider changing their vote if she endorsed a particular candidate.
