WATCH: Jack Posobiec breaks down the ‘complete collapse of the neoliberal world order’ under Biden

The exchange between Bannon and Posobiec happened before the speech given by President Biden on Tuesday where he announced a first round of sanctions against Russian banks and the country’s elite.

Regardless, Posobiec and Bannon already had enough material to work with given Russian President Putin’s remarks from Monday.

"Steve, what we’re seeing here is a complete collapse of the neoliberal world order. This is a situation where it’s gone back to that Sam Huntington clash of the seven civilizations model," said Posobiec.

The 1996 "Clash of Civilizations" book by Samuel P. Huntington predicted that after the Cold War, society would turn to wars between cultures instead of the traditional warfare styles that prior history had acclimated to.

"This idea that everybody was going to be able to join these international organizations and abide by norms and go along with Brussels and go along with the United Nations which as you’ve seen was completely feckless: wasn’t able to stop any of this, wasn’t even able to come to an agreement, and when they tried to come to an agreement… as you’ve heard from both sides, each side reneged on them," he continued.

What Posobiec references is societal order restructured in the aftermath of World War II. Places like Brussels ultimately became home to the European Union, which alongside the United Nations became projects seeking towards providing a system of international cooperation.

As it stood on Tuesday, both the EU and United Kingdom announced their own initial sanctions against Russian entities, with the promise of more to come.

Jack continues:

"It turns out that civilizations and national interests and realism actually did win the day, and that’s why you’ve seen complete panic mode from people like Joe Biden, and people like Tony Blinken, that have pursued this agenda for their entire adult lives. What they pursued was falsity. What they pursued was a fantasy and a pipe dream, and it always was. You are not going to be able to stop history, and that was the point of [Putin’s] speech yesterday."

Bannon stepped in to explain that the speech that Posobiec was referring to was the Monday speech given by Russian President Putin that went into historical detail about Ukraine as it relates to Russia now.

Bannon commented on how it was a very "adult" talk for Putin to openly give out to the general public. Posobiec added that the Russian President made references back to the 1917 revolution and how areas like Crimea played a significant part in the country Russia ended up becoming.

"We have to understand their perspective on the history," Posobiec stressed. The reason being, he says, is it’d help to anticipate what Putin’s mindset is on the whole situation.

The Human Events podcaster called the explanation given by Senator Chris Murphy from Connecticut about what caused the Russia-Ukraine conflict as "cookie cutter" and "third grade" level.

A video that Posobiec believed robbed viewers of a greater understanding of the historical context at hand. But on a more practical note, Jack asked if Senator Murphy is able to explain to the American people as to what the conflict will do to the price of gas at the pump.

""By the way, Chris Murphy hasn't explained to us, what is the price tag on any of these things? What's that going to do to the price of oil? What's it going to do the price of gas at the gas pump for the people, the men and women of this country? And by the way, why also is it that the children of this country should be going over to fight in a place like this, in a situation like this, for that specific region Hasn't given in any single answer other than they’re bad and we're good. It's kindergarten level, and frankly, it's absurd," said Posobiec.

It was after this point in the video that Posobiec brought up how what Russia was doing seemed to go against China’s interests with regards to their Taiwan strategy. He languished at the missed opportunity for western world leaders to exploit this moment of tension, and break apart Russia-China relations further.

"They don't even understand that you've gotten an opportunity right now to blow a hole in the alliance between Russia and China and they won't even take it," said Posobiec.
