Internationally acclaimed hip-hop artist and entrepreneur Curtis Jackson III, who goes by the stage name "50 Cent" took a shot at Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden's tax plan on Instagram on Monday.
"WHAT THE f**k VOTE ForTRUMP) IM OUT,f**k NEW YORK. The KNICKS never win anyway," posted Jackson.
"I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people, 62% are you out of ya f***in mind." The post was also shared on Twitter.
According to the Epoch Times, Jackson particularly had words with Biden's proposed tax plan, which calls for tax rates to be increased on entities or individuals which make more than $400,000 in a year.
On Tuesday morning, Jackson followed up on social media with:
"Yeah, i don’t want to be 20cent. 62% is a very, very,bad idea. i don’t like it ! #abcforlife nov 18 #starzgettheapp"
Under Biden's proposed tax reforms, Jackson could wind up paying as much as 58 percent of this income in federal taxes as a resident of New York State. New Jersey and California residents would be even harder hit under the proposed plan, with tax rates of up to 60 percent for people and corporations making over the threshold.
Previously, Jackson had been critical of President Trump, calling his victory in 2016 an "accident" and mentioning in a 2017 interview that he didn't think that "anything has divided people as fast as him."
