Sanchez Jr. was wanted in connection with another attack against a juvenile member of the Asian American Pacific Islander community that occurred just before the attack on the grandfather.
A man has been arrested for allegedly punching a grandfather pushing a stroller with his infant grandchild after the attack was caught on video.
Angel Sanchez Jr, 29, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in connection with two unprovoked attacks, both against members of the Asian American Pacific Islander community, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
In the video obtained by Fox 11, Sanchez Jr. can be seen crossing the street on the 4000 block of Lost Springs Road in Calabasas at 4:49 pm and walking towards the man pushing the stroller before punching the 60-year-old victim in the face in a seemingly random attack.
Deputies revealed that Sanchez Jr. was wanted in connection with another attack against a juvenile member of the Asian American Pacific Islander community that occurred just before the attack on the grandfather, at approximately 4:30 pm near the 26000 block of Agoura Road and Lost Springs Drive/ Cottonwood Grove Trail in Calabasas.
Sanchez, a resident of Santa Barbara, was located in the city of Oxnard, arrested, and booked at Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station for Assault with Force Likely to Produce Great Bodily Injury.
