A reporter asked "Does the President believe that the governor [Gov. Cuomo] should resign?"
"The president believe that every woman who has come forward—there've now been six, I believe, who've come forward—deserves to have her voice heard, should be treated with respect, uhh, and should and be able to tell her story," Psaki said.
"There also is an independent investigation that is ongoing, of course, in the state, with subpoena power overseen by the Attorney General, and he certainly supports that moving forward."
"We of course have watched the news of a number of lawmakers' call for that, uhh.... but I don't have any additional announcements from here."
Gov. Cuomo has had repeated calls for him to resign, from politicians on both sides of the political spectrum. On a public level, this includes the State GOP as a whole, as well as individual politicians like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Democratic NYC mayor Bill De Blasio.
