On Monday, a grand jury in Portland, Oregon found Officer Mina Cavalli-Singer not criminally liable in the shooting death of 19-year-old domestic violence suspect Johnathan Worth.
Worth was shot dead by Cavalli-Singer after he fired a round at her colleague as they tried to arrest him in July. The bullet narrowly missed the officer's head.

"Upon the conclusion of the presentation of evidence," Multnomah County District Attorney spokeswoman Elisabeth Shepard wrote in a statement Tuesday morning, "a grand jury returned a not true bill and found the use of force by Portland Police Officer Mina Cavalli-Singer that resulted in the death of Jonathan Allen Worth ... was not criminal under Oregon law."
As the Portland Police Bureau relayed at the time, officers responded to reports of a male and female physically fighting in the area of SE 148th Avenue and SE Clinton Street in east Portland's Centennial neighborhood.
"While attempting to arrest the male suspect, a shot was fired by the suspect, resulting in an officer returning fire," the report stated. "The suspect was declared deceased at the scene."
"I'm glad our officers are okay," PPB Chief Chuck Lovell said, adding that the incident "highlights how dangerous this job can be."
As TPM's Any Ngo reported, Antifa responded to the shooting by taking Worth's side, suggesting he was right to try and defend himself.
"Liberals will watch the video of what Portland Police did last night and say 'would you rather they let him shoot them first?' Yes. Yes I would have," tweeted one Antifa member.
