Human remains were reportedly found at the site of the Titan implosion.

Human remains were reportedly found at the site of the Titan implosion, which occured on Sunday, June 18, some 1600 feet from the Titanic wreckage on the sea floor of the North Atlantic.
Authorities from the Coast Guard reported that they believe they have found the remains of some of the 5 men who lost their lives on a journey to the bottom of the sea in an experimental submersible to view the wreckage of the Titanic.
"The evidence will provide investigators from several international jurisdictions with critical insights into the cause of this tragedy," Coast Guard Capt. Jason Neubauer said on Tuesday, per the Washington Post.
"There is still a substantial amount of work to be done to understand the factors that led to the catastrophic loss of the [Titan] and help ensure a similar tragedy does not occur again," he continued."
Those aboard included OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, 61; Hamish Harding, 58; Paul-Henri Nargeolet, 77 formerly of the French Navy; and British Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood, 48, and his sone Suleman, 19.
The disappearance of the craft caught the attention of the world as reports of searches were underway and speculation abounded as to how much air those on board had left as the tension mounted to find them alive.
On Thursday, as the Coast Guard announced that a debris field had been found near the Titanic, signifying that the Titan and all 5 souls were lost, it was also revealed that the US Navy detected the sound of the implosion on Sunday. The detection by the Navy came shortly after the craft had lost communication with the surface.
The Navy, it was further revealed, had told the Coast Guard about what they had detected. The Coast Guard used that information to localize their search for the craft. However, the Biden administration continued to discuss the search and rescue operation as though there were hope of finding the men alive, when their fate had been sealed just hours after their descent to the ocean floor.
This is a breaking story and will be udpated.
