Former MP and Trudeau cabinet member Jane Philpott has returned to the front lines amid the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
In a tweet posted on Thursday, Philpott can be seen in full protective gear, including a face mask, in a noble effort to help the Ontarians in desperate need of medical aid right now.
"Like hundreds of other Canadian health professionals, I've returned [to] the front lines, to help the amazing team at the [Markham Stouffville] Hospital assessment centre," the tweet reads.

In February of this year, Philpott was appointed as dean of the Queen's University Faculty of Health Sciences and director of the Queen's School of Medicine.
Philpott became a household name in April of 2019 after she and now-Independent Vancouver-Granville MP Jody Wilson-Raybould were booted from the Trudeau Liberal caucus amid the SNC-Lavalin scandal.
Regardless of where one stands on the political aisle, it's easy to say that Canada's hearts are with Ms. Philpott in her courageous move to help Ontario, and all of Canada, in our time of great need.
