A Toronto city councillor is standing her ground after accusing Premier Doug Ford of threatening to sexually assault a Pfizer CEO. Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam tweeted on Tuesday, "Premier threatens to sexually assault someone, if he doesn't get what he wants."
Her statement is in reaction to Premier Ford sharing his frustration with Pfizer, which has delayed shipment of the COVID-19 vaccine to Canada. "I would be up that guys ying-yang so far with a firecracker he wouldn't know what hit him," said the Premier in relation to the Pfizer CEO.

The language he used is threatening to rape someone, and perpetuating the worst kinds of rape culture." Her office also provided a link to the St. Michael's Sex Assault case. This case focused on a sexual assault taking place at a private school, where the assault occurred using a broomstick on the victim.
In a short response to Wong-Tam, Premier Ford's office said it will "not dignify this repugnant and divisive claim with a response.”
