The wife of Trudeau's Minister for natural resources, Jonathan Wilkinson, admitted that his wife bought shares in defence company Lockheed Martin just five weeks after he was appointed to cabinet.
Jonathan Wilkinson's wife is the most active spouse on the stock market, investing in companies like Pfizer and Enbridge, alongside other stocks which are directly impacted by the Trudeau government, according to Blacklock's Reporter.

The Trudeau government has a long and complicated history with alleged conflict of interest scandals.
Trudeau's family, for instance, was paid to speak by WE, which Trudeau then gave an expensive sole-sourced contract for no particular reason. This ended with the WE scandal, which came very close to toppling the Trudeau government.
The former Finance Minister Bill Morneau resigned as a result of this scandal.
On top of this, during the pandemic, Trudeau gave out millions to companies without much scrutiny. A lot of these companies, like Baylis Medical, had connections to the Liberals.
