Trudeau health minister flew six times to her home, not four as she previously suggested

By taking these trips, Hajdu appears not only to have misled the Canadian public, but also contradicted her own pandemic advice that she gave to Canadians, according to Blacklock's Reporter.

Hajdu managed to fly so many times that government pilots managed to receive their minimum hours for their for annual certification just by flying her back and forth.

Patty Hajdu has said that these trips were necessary, pointing out that she attended a radio interview and a online community meeting. Despite this justification, it is unclear why the minister could not have made these appearances from Ottawa.

A few weeks ago, Trudeau's Transport Canada department claimed that Hajdu only took four flights throughout the pandemic. In reality, Hajdu flew two more times as late as July 9.

These flights, which seem to be non-essential, cost the Canadian taxpayer $73,220.

Earlier in the pandemic, Hajdu told Canadians to "stay home" and to "avoid non-essential travel."

"Please stay home if you do not need to travel in this country ... we are asking Canadians really to conduct only essential business, going to the grocery store, going to the post office, going to the pharmacy."
