WATCH: Dan Crenshaw releases epic ‘action movie’ campaign ad

Crenshaw just put a clip from the video on Twitter, captioning it, "Who says campaign ads have to suck? Check this out. Mission Impossible meets the Avengers."

The full video, which ends with the team walking into the camera and the subtitle, “TEAM ASSEMBLED. AWAITING NEXT OBJECTIVE," can be seen here:

In the video, Crenshaw para-drops out of a plane flying over Texas, individually visiting the people he wants to make up his dream team.

All of the team members featured in the video are congressional candidates for key Texas seats, seats likely to be hotly contested in the next elections.

Wesley Hunt is an Apache pilot and a West Point graduate. He is currently running against Democrat incumbent Lizzie Fletcher in Houston.

August Pfluger is an officially decorated fighter pilot with 20 years of service in the US Air Force and more than 300 hours of combat experience. He's taking the place of Representative Mike Conaway who is retiring, and will run in the next election.

Beth Van Duyne is an ex-mayor of Irving, TX. She too will be defending a Republican House seat since Representative Kenny Marchant won't be seeking re-election for the 24th congressional district in the Dallas area.

Tony Gonzales, an expert in all things online and a Master Chief with the US Navy, has over 20 years military experience, like Pfluger. Also like Pfluger and Van Duyne, he will be replacing his fellow Republican (Representative Will Hurd) who has announced his retirement.

Genevieve Collins, who, like Hunt, will be going up against an incumbent. The incumbent in question is Representative Colin Allred, a former NFL player. Collins is a businesswoman and also a martial artist, as the video makes clear.

Crenshaw himself is a fascinating figure. He is a Lieutenant Commander and a Navy SEAL, serving on Team 3 and losing an eye in service to his country. He was mentored by Pete Sessions and was elected to the House in 2018.
