Ryan Wesley Routh is originally from North Carolina and his rap sheet includes arrests for simple drug possession, driving without a license, expired inspection and operating a vehicle with no insurance.
“Secret Service intelligence units—teams of Secret Service agents paired with state and local law enforcement to handle reports of suspicious persons—were absent from the Butler rally."
Routh was charged with two federal gun counts: possession of a firearm by a convicted felon as well as possession of a firearm with a destroyed serial number.
Routh laughed and smiled around four times as he was speaking to his court-appointed lawyer.
"President Trump's round of golf was NOT on any public schedule. How did the suspect know Trump was golfing there today?"
Routh was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
"He believed the rhetoric of Biden and Harris, and he acted on it."
"But do you expect to hear anything from the Trump campaign about toning down the rhetoric? Toning down the violence? Or would that be atypical of the former president."
He said his father hates the former president like “every reasonable person does.”
Anthony Saccavino as well as Brian Cordasco, were arrested on bribery, corruption, and false statements charges.
"I am man enough to say that I misjudged and made a terrible mistake and Iran I apologize. You are free to assassinate Trump as well as me."
"The people deserve the truth about the would-be assassin and how he was able to get within 500 yards of the former president and current GOP nominee.”
"I AM VERY PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!"
Routh had a habit of raging against Trump on social media.
"At this level that he is at right now, he’s not the sitting president. If he was, we would have had this entire golf course surrounded."
