In the wake of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk’s assassination in Utah on Wednesday, vigils have popped up around the country and the globe for supporters to come and mourn the loss.

Andrew Kolvet, executive producer for the Charlie Kirk Show, shared video of one of the vigils, which showed supporters gathered, carrying candles and using their phone flashlights to light up the night sky.

"These spontaneous vigils for Charlie all across the country (and world) are so beautiful. While working with CK these past years, I often had to personally recalibrate just how famous and beloved Charlie had become, because it often would reach new heights so rapidly that it was difficult for us to keep up. But the reaction to his death has led me to realize his true impact will reach much further than any of us realized, maybe even especially his closest friends. May God bless the memory and legacy and impact of Charlie Kirk, a truly incredible man," Kolvet wrote.

Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec, who frequently spoke alongside Kirk, wrote, "Charlie would be thrilled they are happening organically."

At a vigil in Germantown, Tennessee, attendees were heard singing Amazing Grace.

A rosary vigil was held for Kirk in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Supporters gathered at the University of Alabama to hold a prayer vigil.

Other locations that held impromptu events included Texas A&M; Vancouver, WA; Boise, ID; Trumbull, CT; and many more.

Vigils even popped up in areas usually thought to be deep blue. One vigil saw hundreds of Christian worshippers flock to a downtown Seattle square on Wednesday night, joining together in prayer, song, and reflection.

Vigils were not confined to just the United States, with events popping up in London, Australia, South Africa, Spain, Germany, and more.
