Ahead of the anticipated Jan. 6 pro-Trump protests, a judge ordered Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio to stay away from Washington, DC.

Tarrio was arrested Monday upon entering the nation's capital on misdemeanor destruction of property charges. The charges are related to last month's alleged Black Lives Matter banner burning. Tarrio is accused of pulling the banner off of a historic black church and torching the flag.
"Let's make this simple," he told the Washington Post, while speaking out against the advice of his attorney. "I did it." In his public admittance, he maintained that he did not know the Asbury United Methodist Church on 11th and K streets NW was predominantly attended by African American worshippers.
The Metropolitan Police Department also confirmed that Tarrio was found to be in possession of two high-capacity firearm magazines at the time.

As for the court's reason to bar the Proud Boys leader from attending any conservative rallies this week, the judge pointed to Tarrio's previous Parler post, threatening: "I'll [expletive] do it again." Tarrio added, "Pass me the lighter."
Tarrio was released without bail Tuesday, reported New2Share editor-in-chief Ford Fischer.

His next hearing is set for June 8. He is facing a $12,500 fine and five years of jail time if he fails to appear in court.
