RAV offers public livestream link for all media organizations

Amid a media boycott of covering President Trump over his banning of CNN, MS NOW, and Politico from the White House, Real America’s Voice has stepped in to take over TV pool coverage. Real America’s Voice (RAV) announced on Wednesday that it is making its pool coverage available to all, both media and the public.

RAV said in a press release that it is releasing pool footage through three means: unwatermarked video from the White House and presidential pool will be posted to its YouTube channel for anyone to access; networks and outlets can have the feed delivered directly “through professional distribution and ingest methods, coordinated to their technical requirements;” and media organizations can contact RAV to receive the pool feed.

Parker Sigg, Vice President of Real America's Voice at Performance One Media, said in a statement, “At a time when a handful of legacy outlets are casting the President's decision as the death of the free press, the reality is exactly the opposite. Real America's Voice is pleased to provide a feed of the pool camera to all the media, even the fake news, and to the American people. A free press is alive and well, and we are honored to be a conduit of this foundational constitutional principle for all of America.”

RAV posted its pool feed coverage of the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday to its YouTube channel, which included Trump’s address to the United Nations, as well as meetings with foreign leaders. 

Just The News founder John Solomon, who hosts a show on RAV, said on Wednesday evening, “Our network, Real America's Voice, we've been grabbing a pool camera and making it available to anyone because we want everybody to hear the president unfiltered. And I think that’s such a great tribute, they’re doing it at their own expense, Real America’s Voice, I’m really proud of our network.”

Speaking with Steve Bannon, who showed the front page of Wednesday’s edition of the Washington Post, which read, “Trump's ban triggers video coverage halt,” Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec said, “I'm so confused because I was watching the pool feed last night as President Trump made his triumphant return to Washington DC and I saw him walking down the stairway there from the Air Force One. I saw him holding the umbrella. It's a bit rainy. I was watching that right on the pool feed, which was provided by Real America's Voice. So I guess that the Washington Post is printing fake news on the cover this morning.”

“The feed is up. The link is up. I've been providing this to anybody who asks,” he said. He later added, “This is the live footage, and when the president comes out or something is being filmed, it immediately snaps to that. It is completely free of charge. It's being provided by Real America's Voice. There's no fees. There's no graphics. We're not running ads on it. It is being done as a public service because President Trump is the president of the United States.”
