Mainstream media melts down over Real America's Voice, Human Events bucking boycott of Trump coverage

Mainstream media melted down on Monday after Real America’s Voice and Human Events Daily broke through the boycott of providing TV press pool footage carried out by four major outlets. The boycott was launched after Trump banned CNN, a TV press pool coverage member, as well as Politico and MS NOW from the White House.

Real America’s Voice stepped in as Trump jetted off to New York City for the United Nations General Assembly, as well as meetings with officials such as Mayor Zohran Mamdani. 

Among those who issued complaints was Politico, which wrote in part, “It was not immediately clear to what extent, if at all, the outlet would disseminate footage and other information to the broader press corps.” 

Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec said on his show Monday regarding Politico’s comments, “Hey folks, folks, if you want the coverage, you got to tune in to Real America's Voice. How about that?”

Many outlets had claimed that no one would be covering TRump’s trip due to the boycott. Kaitlan Collins said on Monday morning, “when the President does anything today, there will be no TV camera with the President that is broadcasting and sharing this footage of what a president does on a daily basis.” CNN was originally scheduled to be Monday’s TV press pool outlet.

MS NOW said in the morning, as the outlet, alongside CNN and Politico, launched a lawsuit over the ban, “the President’s trip to New York, an extremely important development … may not be broadcast to the American people because of this ban.”

CBS News correspondent Weijia Jiang wrote, “RAV is getting *unilateral* TV coverage for itself, but it does not have the ability to POOL or share it with anyone. In spaces like the Oval there’s not enough room for every outlet, which is what makes the pool necessary to ensure everyone (including RAV) has the footage.” Posobiec said “I am told RAV has offered it.” 

MS NOW said, “The one hand-selected outlet is called Real America’s Voice, which is the MAGA-propagating outlet that is host to Steve Bannon’s show and Jack Posobiec, John Solomon.”
