Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett has continued her claims that President Donald Trump is “evil” with a post on X, in which she claimed that America is facing a “super villain” while portraying herself as a hero.

In a message marking the first day of Black History Month, Crockett wrote, “America is facing a SUPER villain, but we are the heroes of our own story. With resilience, grace, & unapologetic power, we rise. No villain can dim our light—our magic is unstoppable. My story is Unleashing Black Girl Magic: The Superpower Within!” Accompanying the post was a comic book-style image of herself, with captions such as “clapping back,” “leading the charge,” and “always bringing the receipts.”

Crockett’s remarks come as the Trump administration has moved to roll back diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in the federal government. While President Trump officially recognized February as National Black History Month on Friday, his administration has also taken steps to dismantle race-based hiring and other DEI-style policies.

One of his first executive orders upon taking office, titled, “Ending Radical And Wasteful Government DEI Programs And Preferencing,” called for the end of   "discriminatory programs, including illegal DEI and 'diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility' (DEIA) mandates, policies, programs, preferences, and activities in the Federal Government, under whatever name they appear." Additionally, the Department of Defense intelligence agency gained attention for pausing observances of Black History Month, Pride Month, and Holocaust Remembrance Days, among other cultural celebrations.

Crockett has repeatedly criticized Trump, previously labeling him as “evil.” After taking office, she delivered a speech in which she tied Trump to white supremacy and claimed that white supremacists were responsible for the majority of extreme crimes in the US.

“Let me make sure y’all got the facts, most extreme crimes that take place in this country are committed by white supremacists,” Crockett said in her speech.

“80 percent of extreme crimes are committed by white supremacists in this country,” she continued, without citing evidence to support these claims. “Do you know who went up there on January 6? White supremacists. This ain’t me just telling you, you can Google this if you don’t believe me, but it was the Oath Keepers. It was the Neo-Nazis. It was the Proud Boys. They are all white supremacists.”
