"There has been no oppression for the white man in this country."
During a House Oversight Committee markup session on Wednesday regarding the Dismantle DEI Act and other bills, Rep. Jasmine Crockett claimed "there has been no oppression for the white man in this country."
Crockett went on a tirade about the word "oppression," yelling, “You can then misuse words like oppression. There has been no oppression for the white man in this country. You tell me which white man was dragged out of their homes. You tell me which white man got dragged all the way across an ocean and told that you are gonna go and work, we are gonna steal your wives, we are gonna rape your wives. That didn't happen. That is oppression!”
"We didn't ask to be here," she continued. "We aren't the same migrants that y'all constantly come up against. We didn't run away from home. We were stolen. So yeah, we are going to sit here and be offended when you are gonna sit here and act like, and don't let it escape you that it is white men on this side of the aisle telling us, people of color on this side of the aisle, that y'all are the ones being oppressed, that y'all are the ones being harmed."
Crockett and other lawmakers were discussing HR 8706, also known as the Dismantle DEI Act of 2024, which seeks to "ensure equal protection of the law, to prevent racism in the Federal Government, and for other purposes."The bill, among other proposed provisions, prohibits requiring as a condition of employment or promotion that employees undergo "training, education, or coursework, or other pedagogy, that asserts that a particular race, color, ethnicity, religion, biological sex, or national origin is inherently or systemically superior or inferior, oppressive or oppressed, or privileged or unprivileged."
The bill also directs the Office of Personnel Management to, no later than 180 days after the law is enacted, "terminate, close, and wind up" the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility of the Office of Personnel Management and the Chief Diversity Officers Executive Council.
In addition, the law states that "No Federal funds appropriated or otherwise made available by law shall be used for the purpose of maintaining in any agency an office relating to diversity, equity, inclusion, or accessibility; or a substantially similar office."

You dress them up, educate them, elect them to public office but you still can't wash that ghetto stank off of them.
