Republicans rebrand 'The Squad' the 'Hamas Caucus’

"Never did I think I would get elected to Congress and have my colleagues supporting terrorism…inside the halls of Congress."

During the 11 days that Israel spent defending itself from an extensive barrage of rockets from Hamas terrorists in Gaza, several Republican members of congress who share a hallway with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), a member of the progressive 'squad,' condemned her anti-Israel comments in a unique fashion.

Reps. Mike Waltz (R-FL), Lisa McClain(R-MI), Nancy Mace(R-SC), and Chris Jacobs (R-NY) also posted "Stand With Israel" signs next to their office doors.

Waltz told Fox News that he is giving a new name to the squad: The "Hamas Caucus."

"Never did I think I would get elected to Congress and have my colleagues supporting terrorism…inside the halls of Congress," Waltz said. "So, what we did in our office building last week was put up huge 'I stand with Israel' posters. My colleagues and I lined the hallways with it. And in one hallway, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez has to walk down that hallway every time she goes to vote. So, I’ve renamed the Squad: The Hamas Caucus."

While Hamas fired rockets on civilians in Israel, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) said that Israel’s targeted strikes against Hamas targets were acts of 'terrorism' and 'war crimes.'

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) recently spoke at a pro-Palestinian protest in front of the State Department in Washington D.C. At multiple points during the protest chanted "from the river to the sea, Palestine shall be free," a chant which calls for the destruction of the Jewish state.
