A spokesperson for Kristi Noem said, "Mrs. Noem is devastated. The family was blindsided by this. They ask for privacy and prayers at this time."
The Daily Mail reviewed hundreds of messages that involved three women from the "bimbofication" scene, in which porn stars inject large amounts of saline into their breasts, greatly enlarging them. Noem was seen praising these women’s bodies and expressing lust towards "huge, huge ridiculous boobs." He also reportedly made "indiscreet comments" about his marriage to Krisi Noem, the outlet stated.
In one selfie shared to online contacts, Noem was seen wearing a flesh-colored top and tight hot pink shorts. Noem appeared to have "stuffed two balloons inside his shirt to resemble breasts – positioning the knots to mimic nipples," the outlet reported. He was seen in another photo wearing green leggings and a tight white top over the large imitation breasts. Noem’s face is clearly visible in the images, with the insurance mogul and father of three pouting in one of them.
Noem reportedly paid adult entertainers for explicit chats with them. During the 14 months his wife led the nation’s largest law enforcement agency, Bryon Noem received numerous texts and WhatsApp messages asking for money. He reportedly sent his online acquaintances at least $25,000 through Cash App and PayPal. Sometimes payments were delayed or failed to materialize in the chats. One woman became disgruntled and posted about Noem’s actions to social media, but later deleted it.
When reached for comment by the Daily Mail, Byron Noem did not deny the explicit conversations or the photos but denied that he made "indiscreet" comments about his marriage.
"Yeah, I made no comments like that, that would lead to that," Bryon replied. "I deny the second part of that."
A spokesperson for Kristi Noem told the outlet, "Mrs. Noem is devastated. The family was blindsided by this. They ask for privacy and prayers at this time."
The two share three kids together: daughters Kassidy, 31, and Kennedy, 29, and son Booker, 23. Their relationship came under fire after a report from the Daily Mail claimed that Kristi Noem had a years-long affair with close advisor Corey Lewandowski.
One of the models who spoke extensively with Byron Noem spoke with the Daily Mail, saying that his fetish was "3000cc-plus boobs," referring to custom implants that hold 3000 cubic centimeters of saline per breast. "It's called bimbofication. People who modify their body to look like a doll. The Barbie look," she said. "His kink is for huge, huge ridiculous boobs."
In messages seen by the Daily Mail, Noem used the pseudonym Jason Jackson to get into contact with a model, praising her "amazing" curves and saying that he would worship her like a "goddess."
The two participated in text messaging and audio calls. He asked her at one point, "How are your boobs? Would you ever go bigger?" She also sent him numerous lingerie shots and topless selfies. He said in one message, "You turn me into a girl. Should I put on leggings?"
A PayPal account belonging to "Jason Jackson" regularly sent the woman money, with payments typically ranging between $500 and $1,000.
The woman said that Noem openly admitted to having a wife and kids. "He'd say, 'I love my wife, I want to get better.' Then he'd disappear, come back, and start again."
The models slowly began to figure out his real identity. A second woman told the outlet that she had pocket-dialed "Jason Jackson," and was shocked to hear a voicemail message that stated, "Noem Insurance, leave a message." A google search revealed photos of Kristi and Bryon Noem. "I was completely shocked. I said, 'Why are you doing this?' I didn't think hot guys did this," the woman said. "He said he didn't care. I thought, you should care – your wife could lose everything she's ever worked for."
The second woman had read about the alleged affair between Kristi Noem and Lewandowski, and asked Bryon Noem about it. "I asked him about it and his response was, 'I know. There's nothing I can do about it.’”
National security experts have warned that Noem’s behavior could have left his wife vulnerable to blackmail. Former CIA officer Marc Polymeropoulos warned, "If a media organization can find this out, you can assume with a high degree of confidence that a hostile intelligence service knows this as well." Jack Barsky, a former Soviet spy turned US counterintelligence asset, said, "It's astounding that somebody whose spouse is at that level has that kind of bad judgment."
An analysis conducted by the Daily Mail using specialist software did not detect any signs that the images had been generated by AI. Metadata suggested that the photos had been taken in early 2025 on an iPhone set to Central Time.
