59-year-old Mark Middleton, a former advisor to Bill Clinton who approved several of Jeffrey Epstein's trips to the White House, was found dead on May 7, 2022 in what authorities declared a suicide, despite a gunshot blast to the chest and hanged by an extension cord from a tree, and new materials from the Perry County sheriff's office in Arkansas claim a shotgun was found near the scene.

According to the Daily Mail, Sergeant Keenan Carter said, "He (Middleton) stood on top of the bench and tied one end of the extension cord to a large limb of the tree and the other end around his neck. It is believed that Mr. Middleton then took the firearm and placed the barrels against his chest and then reached out with his left hand and placed his first finger on the first trigger. It is then believed that Mr. Middleton pulled the trigger on the firearm casing… to discharge and strike him in the chest and then he fell from the bench causing the extension cord to become tight cutting off his breathing."

The Sergeant claimed that "recoil from the discharge and the height and angle of the ground" propelled the shotgun, a Stoeger 12-gauge coach gun, to a distance from Middleton's hanged body.

Epstein was a convicted pedophile and was accused of additional decades of child sexual abuse and trafficking while serving as a powerbroker among several political and Hollywood elites. Some of those that were linked to Maxwell and Epstein were Prince Andrew, Bill Gates, and Bill Clinton. Epstein died in jail under mysterious circumstances that was deemed a suicide in 2019, after being charged with additional sex crimes.

Seven out of the 17 times Epstein visited the White House during the Clinton administration of the 1990s were authorized by Middleton, whose name was found on Epstein's lolita express private jet flight logs.

Middleton's body was found hanging from a tree at the Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas when employee Samantha McElroy stumbled upon an abandoned black BMW SUV on the grounds. Initial reports had a gun case and ammunition being found in the SUV, but no weapon.

Perry County Sheriff's Deputy Jeremy Lawson's initial report said, "I could see what at first appeared to be a man sitting near a tree, as my eyes focused better, I could see a rope of some type going from the tree limb to the male" and "I could see that he had a gunshot wound to the chest and that he had a knot tied in an extension cord that was around his neck and it was attached to the limb directly above him."

The newly released material also said Middleton texted his wife before the incident and said that he found the perfect place to take a "nap in the sun" and "Going to rest for a while."

"You are a great Mom and wife babe," he added. "Please be happy today and get some sun. It will make you feel better. I love you."
