Police are investigating the vandalism of the office of Pennsylvania Congressman Mike Doyle (D-18). The call for "revolution" mirrors vandalism shared by Republican congressional candidate Sean Parnell, who is running in Pennsylvania's 17th district.

Although on opposite sides of the stateBoth sets of graffiti read "ELECTIONS NO, REVOLUTION YES!" with varied punctuation, in red spray paint.

CBS Pittsburgh reports that its crew discovered the vandalism of Doyle's office on Sunday.

Parnell shared images Sunday of the phrase plastered on the front of his house.

"My house was vandalized last night by cowards under the cover of darkness," said Parnell "This is what is at stake in this election. We all must fight for our country and we must do it NOW."

"I will not cower. I will not back down. I will always fight for this nation. "The vandalism is similar to a recent incident in Texas targeting a polling place. The Austin Public Library was vandalized Oct. 26. Red paint was smeared over the doors, along with the message "DON'T VOTE. FIGHT FOR REVOLUTION." TAn activist twitter account shared an image of the Austin vandalism that day, along with the text "Elections no!Revolution yes!"

In February, the Bloomberg campaign reported that the phrase was used in the vandalism of at least one of the many Bloomberg campaign offices attacked.

Similar messages have been documented in several additional locations around the country, with pro-voting ad campaigns being one target.
