Teen Vogue has said support for President Joe Biden and the Democrat Party has taken a sharp nosedive among Gen Z voters.

The left-leaning magazine claims that Americans belonging to Gen Z might not be voting in the 2024 Presidential Election, saying that some would rather abstain from voting than vote for a candidate and system they "cannot support."

This age range of young voters helped the Biden administration secure the presidential election in 2020 due to a record-breaking youth voter turnout.

Although according to a recent survey conducted by the Harvard Kennedy School, the likelihood of Gen Z voters casting ballots in 2024 appears to be lower than in 2020.

At this time of the election cycle in 2020, 57 percent of Americans aged 18 to 29 had expressed intention to vote. However, that percentage has decreased to 49 percent, as indicated by the poll.

Despite Gen Z voters favoring President Biden over his probable opponent, former president Donald Trump, Biden's presidential performance is only approved by 35 percent of this demographic, according to the survey.

However, this Gen Z age bracket doesn't quite paint the full picture as to who young Americans claim to be supporting in this year's election.

When the age range increases from 18 to 29 to 18 to 34, recent polls show that Donald Trump has more support than Biden.

Earlier this month, a USA Today/Suffolk University poll revealed that Trump leads Biden among voters under the age of 35, with 37 percent of these voters supporting Trump compared to 33 percent supporting Biden.

Teen Vogue had interviewed multiple Gen Z voters who expressed that while they voted in the 2020 election, they will likely be sitting out of this election as they can no longer support President Biden.

They provided a broad range of reasons which include the US finding of the Israel-Hamas war, failure to fulfill promises such as student loan, forgiveness, and the state of the economy.
