New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is being accused of sexual misconduct by a tenth woman. Sherry Vill alleges Cuomo kissed her on both cheeks in 2017, during a visit to damaged homes from the Lake Ontario flood.

According to The Hill, Vill spoke at a news conference alongside her Attorney Gloria Allred. There, she retold her experience with the Governor and how he excused his advances as Italian gregariousness.

Vill says Cuomo took a special interest in her, telling her how beautiful she was. The brief encounter allegedly also led to neighbors in town referring to Vill as "the governor's new girlfriend."

Cuomo denies any sexual misconduct, saying his advances "have been misinterpreted as an unwanted flirtation." He says he has no plans to step down form his position as Governor of New York.

Sherry Vill now joins nine other women who has accused Governor Andrew Cuomo of sexual misconduct. Alyssa McGrath is one such woman, who recently told The New York Times that the governor made unsettling sexual comments about her body to her. There are multiple calls for his resignation, as well as an investigation into the claims led by the state's attorney general, Letitia James.
