Texas man arrested for planning mass shooting at Walmart

Law enforcement officials obtained a search warrant at his home found firearms, ammo, electronic evidence, concentrated THC. Also discovered was "radical ideology paraphernalia," which deputies claim included books, flags and handwritten documents.

A man from Kerrville, Texas has been arrested by the FBI, Texas Department of Public Safety they claim planned to carry out a mass shooting at a local Walmart.

According to KCSO, Coleman Thomas Blevins, 28, allegedly threatened to shoot up a Walmart, which location was not released. Kerr County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Blevins was planning a mass shooting after interrogating him.

On Thursday, investigators intercepted a message that Blevins was preparing to commit a mass shooting and made a specific threat which included Walmart.

Blevins was arrested Friday on a Terroristic Threat warrant following an investigation by the Kerrville Police Department's Patrol Division, the FBI and the US Secret Service after confirming his "affiliation and networking with extremist ideologies" and capability of following through with the threat.

According to KCSO Blevins is on active felony probation, which prohibited him from having guns.
