On Monday the hosts from "The View" discussed their fears over not wanting former President Donald Trump to debate President Joe Biden because it would "legitimize" Trump and Biden might "flub" during debate.

When discussing the possibility of the debate between Trump and Biden, Sunny Hostin did not think he deserved that "type of platform."

Joy Behar interjected then calling out her worry that Biden may "flub" in a potential debate.

"If Biden flubs, they'll be all over him. If Trump flubs who cares?" Behar added.

Alyssa Griffin then chimed in, opposing her co-host's opinions. "Donald Trump needs to have to stand next to Joe Biden, and Joe Biden needs to call him out on [his] unfitness." She earlier said that it was incredibly "important for democracy" to see them debate.

The hosts played a clip at the beginnig of the segment that Trump was calling "immediately [for] debates" on the Dan Bongino Show. "We should debate for the good of the country," Trump said in the recording.

A clip of Biden played directly afterwards of him being questioned by reporters at a frozen yogurt stand if he would accept a challenge to debate Trump immediately, to which he replied, "I'd want to debate me too if I had nothing else to do," while slurring his speech.

The entire segment surrounded the "co-hosts questions [on] how a debate between the two front-runners will influence voters" specifically in celebration for President's Day.
