On Friday, former president Donald Trump released a new campaign ad supporting patriotic "frat boys" who fought back against the pro-Palestinian protesters across the country.

The video posted on Truth Social, showed a montage of news reports about college students acting patriotically on college campuses. It showed praise for the group of students who took down a Palestinian flag and put the American flag back up in its place.

One of the students said in a news interview, "I love America." He added, "There are still patriots in this country."

The video ends with chants of "We want Trump!" as the video fades to the former president's campaign logo.

As anti-Israel encampments have popped up across college campuses with activists attempting to force universities to divest from organizations with ties to Israel in support of Hamas, videos of pro-America counter-protests began to pop up last week.

In one video featured in the former president's ad, one man holds an Israeli flag, while several frat boys at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill hold up the American flag, preventing it from touching the ground.

A GoFundMe to support the group has raised over $500,000 at the time of this publication. The page titled "UNC Frat Bros Defended their Flag. Throw 'em a Rager" said, "Commie losers across the country have invaded college campuses to make dumb demands of weak University Administrators."

"Amidst the chaos, the screaming, the anti-semitism, the hatred of faith and flag, stood a platoon of American heroes," it added. "Armored in Vineyard Vines and Patagonia, fueled by Zyn and White Claws, these triumphant Brohemians protected Old Glory from the unwashed Marxist horde -- laughing at their shrieks and wails and shielding the Stars & Stripes from Soviet missiles."

The page said that the funds will be used to "throw these frats the party they deserve."
