Things will keep getting worse until Trudeau resigns

This was about saving Trudeau’s career, nothing more. While Freeland may end up doing all the work, Trudeau is still responsible in the end.

Bill Morneau was finance minister for almost half a decade. He was appointed by Trudeau. He kept his job as long as he did because Trudeau kept him in his job.

He has been associated with everything Trudeau has done. If Trudeau wanted Morneau gone earlier, Morneau would have been gone.

There was zero talk of any problems between them, until just a few weeks ago. What happened a few weeks ago? The WE Charity Scandal broke into full public awareness, and Liberal poll numbers dropped. Justin Trudeau’s approval rating dropped. Canadians—who had temporarily increased their support for Trudeau amid the CCP virus crisis—remembered why Trudeau was so unpopular.

So what happened next?

The Liberals needed a distraction. They needed someone to blame. At first, it looked like Bardish Chagger was going to get thrown under the bus. But having already thrown Jody Wilson-Raybould under the bus to save Trudeau’s political career, the Liberals probably felt that Trudeau’s ‘diverse feminist’ brand would take a hit if Chagger got blamed.

So, the fake Trudeau-Morneau ‘rift’ was concocted. You see, it turns out that there has been a long-running issue between Trudeau and Morneau, with Trudeau being more ambitious and Morneau wanting more restraint.

That’s the only reason they seem to not be getting along of course, it has nothing to do with the fact that Morneau and Trudeau are both heavily involved in the WE Scandal. No, nothing at all to do with that… Sure.

As if any of us actually buy that BS narrative. If Trudeau previously had problems with Morneau, he has had plenty of chances to boot him out.

He could have gotten rid of Morneau for repeatedly running deficits. He could he removed Morneau for Canada’s weak economic growth. He could have removed Morneau for his other past scandals. He didn’t.

And the reason is that Morneau has been doing Trudeau’s bidding. Yet, up until Morneau resigned, the Liberals were still trying to sell the fake ‘rift’ story, because they are desperate to try and find someone to throw under the bus to once again try and avoid Trudeau from being held accountable.

If they removed Morneau for his connection to the WE Scandal, they would have to explain why

Trudeau isn’t being removed for the exact same thing. But if Morneau left “because” he wasn’t “ambitious” enough or “progressive” enough, well they must think they can get away with it.

So, they put that story out there, pushed that narrative, and not long after, Morneau resigned. Right after that resignation, Trudeau supported Morneau’s run for head of the OECD, making the idea of a "rift" all the more absurd.

This was about saving Trudeau’s career, nothing more. While Freeland may end up doing all the work, Trudeau is still responsible in the end. The fact that the Liberals even tried to push such a fake garbage ‘rift’ narrative to bail out Trudeau shows their contempt for Canadians, and their belief that the establishment media will help them sell whatever they spew out.
