In a new expose from The New York Times, we discover the magnitude of the New York governor's limitations. Anna Ruch encountered the feisty Cuomo at a wedding reception in September 2019. Ms. Ruch recounted that first Cuomo put his hand on her lower back. She wasn't a fan of that, and tried smoothly removing his hand to replace it for her own.

Andrew Cuomo picked up on the move and didn't like that.

In the soon-to-be-infamous picture you see above, Andrew Cuomo put his hands on Anna's cheeks and called her "aggressive." He asked if he could kiss her in such a loud fashion that the crowd surrounding them both heard these remarks.

“I was so confused and shocked and embarrassed,” Anna said. “I turned my head away and didn’t have words in that moment.”

This new allegation comes on a cavalcade of controversy for the New York Governor's office: what started as a simple callout for his mishandling of COVID and nursing homes turned into not one but two other sexual harassment allegations against him. Coupled with that is not only just an awkward apology from Andrew Cuomo, but also bi-partisan support for a full fledged investigation into his administration.

While Anna Ruch's situation was in a public place, the particulars of it still unnerved her, according to what she told The New York Times: “It’s the act of impunity that strikes me. I didn’t have a choice in that matter. I didn’t have a choice in his physical dominance over me at that moment. And that’s what infuriates me. And even with what I could do, removing his hand from my lower back, even doing that was not clear enough.”
