Anti-cop and anti-Trump protesters at the "People's March" in Washington DC ahead of President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday chanted that they were going to make the lives of police "sh*tty" and called for Trump and Elon Musk to be thrown in jail.

The protesters chanted "Elon Musk has got to go!" and "Lock him up!" in reference to the tech entrepreneur. Protesters also carried signs calling for Trump to be put in jail instead of going to the White House.

Some left-wing protesters were gathered together around a truck driving a platform with the protest leaders yelling into blowhorns, "Oink oink, piggy piggy. We're gonna make your lives sh*tty."

The truck carrying the blowhorn-holding protesters said "Free DC" as the anti-cop group marched along for the event. In addition to the chant labeling police as pigs, some protesters carried signs, one saying, "Socialism beats Fascism," "Climate Action Now," as well as "Resist."

The leading protesters had the crowd of protesters yell, "Middle finger to the law," multiple times, and added "F*ck cops and f*ck ICE." In addition, they added, "These racist pigs have got to go."

Some waved Palestinian flags and wore keffiyehs, a scarf that represents the Palestinian cause against Israel. The march, originally branded as the "Women's March" after Trump was elected, changed its name to the "People's March" before the demonstration on Saturday.

Ahead of the protest, a spokesman for the group said about the name change that the Women’s March managing director Tamika Middleton "sees the need for everyone to be included in the fight against what is coming" with Trump's election.
