Ten men, including an officer are being charged in connection with an investigation into underage human-trafficking, say Toronto police.

The officer being charged is 49-year-old Constable Peter Roberts, of Toronto. Roberts and nine others are being charged with obtaining sexual services for consideration from a person under 18, according to City News.

The investigation involves sexual exploitation of a young girl, which began in November.

Investigators began looking for people who exchanged money for sexual services from a 16-year-old girl, earlier this year.

The officer being charged worked in 51 Division and had over 10 years of experience.

The officer is set to appear in court later this month and is currently suspended without pay.
