The suspect was identified as Ahmad Jihad Bojeh, 29, who was previously found not guilty by reason of insanity in a separate shooting.
A Florida man allegedly stalked and shot three tourists near Walt Disney World in a random attack. The victims were identified as Robert Luis Kraft, 70, of Michigan, his brother Douglas Joseph Kraft, 68, of Ohio, and James John Puchan, 69, of Ohio.
In a joint statement from their families reported by Fox News, the men had traveled to central Florida to attend the Mecum Car Show, the largest collector car auction in the world. "There were no known interactions between the men and this individual prior to the event; they were then approached and senselessly murdered," the family said in the statement. "This was a random, tragic act."
The men were staying at an Airbnb and were reportedly scheduled to return home on Saturday, but extended their stay due to problems with their rental car. While outside the residence waiting for a replacement vehicle, they were targeted, authorities said.
At 12:14 pm Saturday, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to multiple 911 calls reporting shots fired. Deputies arrived at the scene and found all three men dead from gunshot wounds.
The suspect was identified as Ahmad Jihad Bojeh, 29, who lives next to the rental property. Authorities said Bojeh was seen fleeing the residence after the shooting and was later detained in possession of two firearms. He has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder.
Bojeh has a criminal history that includes a 2021 case in which he was charged with attempted first-degree murder with a firearm and aggravated battery for allegedly shooting at a person and random vehicles in a parking lot. He was found not guilty by reason of insanity in that case. Records also show prior arrests for felony drug possession and misdemeanor resisting an officer without violence.
"Across the country, we see violent criminals getting to walk free, back into society, because of insanity defenses," Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier told Fox News."We won’t tolerate leftist prosecutors releasing murderers and violent criminals to hurt our families.”

With a middle name like Jihad, what could go wrong?
