Starting Monday, the Trudeau government will prohibit anyone who exhibits coronavirus symptoms from domestic travel on planes or trains.

The restrictions were announced by Trudeau during his daily press conference updating the nation on the COVID-19 coronavirus. "It will be important for operators of airlines and trains to ensure that people who are exhibiting symptoms do not board those trains. It will be a Transport Canada rule that will be enforced, but at the same time, we're telling people: stay home if it's not absolutely essential for you to travel."
Transit companies will be given “further tools” so that they can determine what symptoms constitute coronavirus likelihood, and what to do when faced with passengers who are attempting to travel despite presenting these symptoms.
As of Saturday, the number of COVID-19 total cases in Canada is 4,757 with 57 reported deaths.
