Republican Party Chairman, Ronna McDaniel, recently announced the "Bank Your Vote" initiative. The initiative reads, "To beat Joe Biden and the Democrats in 2024, we must ensure that Republicans bank as many votes as possible before Election Day."

GOP primary candidates, such as former President Trump, have hinted at the change in tune.

At this year's CPAC, Trump told the audience, the party has to beat "the Democrats at their own game."

When it comes to elections, he said "Republicans must compete using every lawful means to win. That means swamping the left with mail in votes, early votes, and election day votes."

The Bank Your Vote initiative will be "[i]n all 56 states and territories."

Several other GOP figures, such as Senator Bill Hagerty of Tennessee and Representative Wesley Hunt of Texas have also made videos.

The initiative comes at the heels of a press conference that Kari Lake held after she lost her election claim back in May.

As one of the country's largest proponents of safeguarding the voting system, she said in the press conference, “We’re going to start rolling up our sleeves and playing by the same rules [Democrats] play by."

“And when you get a fed-up mom who plays by those rules, watch out, because we’re not letting this happen again,” she said. "While you know how I feel about mail-in ballots. If this is the game we have to play, if we gotta play in their rigged system, we'll play in their rigged system."

Under federal law, a violation of voter fraud occurs if a person intentionally gives false info when registering to vote, receives something of value in exchange for the vote, or votes more than once in a given election.
