Trump still led with third-party candidates added into the mix, receiving 44 percent support to Biden’s 40 percent.
A new poll out of Arizona has revealed that Donald Trump is leading Joe Biden by five points.
The CBS News/YouGov poll found that 52 percent of registered voters in the state said they would vote for Trump, compared to 47 percent who said they would vote for Biden. No respondents said they would vote for a third-party candidate, and none said they were unsure of who to pick.
Of those who said they would vote for Trump, 66 percent said their support for the former president was "very strong" and that they have fully decided their pick for November. 22 percent said their support was "strong" and that their selection "probably won’t change," 11 percent said "I might still change" the selection, and one percent said "I’ll probably change at some point.
For Biden, 61 percent said they have made their decision for the election, 27 percent said they "probably won’t change," 11 percent said they might change their selection, and one percent said they would probably change their selection before the election.
Trump still led with third-party candidates added into the mix, receiving 44 percent support to Biden’s 40 percent. An additional 5 percent said they would vote for Jill Stein, five percent said they would vote for another third-party candidate, and 5 percent were unsure.
The poll also found that the biggest issue swaying who voters will cast their ballot for is the economy, with 82 percent saying it’s a major factor. inflation was the second-highest concern, with 78 percent of voters saying it was a major factor in their selection.
The poll was conducted between May 10 and 16 of 1,214 registered voters and has a margin of error of 3.5 percent.Powered by The Post Millennial CMS™ Comments
