On Thursday evening, former president and 2024 presidential candidate Donald Trump hosted members of the Florida delegation at Mar-a-Lago for a dinner.
Posting to Truth Social before the dinner, Trump said that the dinner’s invitees were all lawmakers who have endorsed him for president.
"A great group of supportive Florida Congressmen and Congresswomen, all of who have endorsed me, will be coming to Mar-a-Lago tonight," he wrote. "Our support is almost universal in Florida and throughout the USA. They remember fondly all of the incredible things I did while in office, one of the most successful administrations in history. Will be a great night!"
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna posted photos of the evening, showing members like Reps. Byron Donalds, Matt Gaetz, and Greg Steube posing with Trump inside the lavish Palm Beach residence.
"America needs President Trump BACK in the White House, and my friends in the Florida delegation are committed to ensuring that happens," wrote Donalds.
"Thank you President Trump for hosting us last night at Mar-a-Lago with Florida’s America First delegation!" Steube wrote. "Honored to be on Team Trump!"
"Great dinner last night at Mar a Lago with President Trump and members of the Florida delegation. Honored to be a part of this great team," Rep. Cory Mills wrote.
The dinner came just after Trump's interview with the Full Send podcast was posted, where host Kyle Foregeard told the former president he is needed back in office.
"I'm watching everything going on here and also abroad around the world, and I just feel like it's such a good time to have you on to speak," Forgeard told Trump.
"I don't care what anyone says," he continued. "I don't care about the backlash, I feel like we need you back right now. We need you back in office, and I feel like if people have anything against you, they gotta put it aside cause you're the only one right now that can really fix the problems here and abroad."
