A new poll released by the Trafalgar Group shows President Trump sneaking ahead in the polls in battleground state Michigan.
The data, taken from polls conducted between October 25-28, shows Trump pulling ahead of Biden by nearly three points.
The most recent Trafalgar poll showed Biden with 47 percent and Trump with 49 percent, meaning that Biden has slipped slightly in that poll. Trump won Michigan in 2016.
Trump noted that it was Trafalgar who accurately predicted his taking Michigan during the election that launched him into his first term.
"I think it’s very good," the president said, "We have had some polls come out—some very strong polls. Trafalgar: [they] called it very accurately last time."
Both candidates have planned campaign stops in the state on Friday, with Trump holding a rally in Waterford Township. Biden will hold a "drive-in" rally on Saturday with Barack Obama, under whom he served as Vice President.
