US President Donald Trump will appear at 8 pm on Friday's edition of “Tucker Carlson Tonight”, where he will be evaluated medically live on the air.

Carlson will be the host of the show, naturally, and Dr. Marc Siegel, a medical contributor to the outlet, and a faculty member at New York University, will "conduct a medical evaluation and interview during the program."

According to Forbes, this will be Trump’s first live interview since he recently tested positive for the novel coronavirus, and there is rampant speculation about potential issues with his health. The live interview and medical evaluation are being performed to disprove these rumors.

Trump has been given a clean bill of health by Sean Conley, the White House physician, who oversaw his course of treatment. Therapies included five doses of Remdesivir, an antiviral, as well as a cocktail designed by the pharmaceutical company Regeneron and Dexamethasone, a steroid.

Trump has been conducting interviews over the phone in recent days, including one on “Hannity” and another on “Mornings with Maria”, where he talked at length about various current issues and affairs. Trump also told Fox Business that he defeated coronavirus because he is a "perfect physical specimen [and] extremely young."

Trump returned to the Oval Office on Wednesday, and Conley has given Trump official medical permission  to continue campaigning. He is scheduled to appear at a virtual rally on Rush Limbaugh’s show on Friday evening.
